Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East has a number of shops that sell good quality, second hand clothing, shoes, furniture, electrical and household items, white goods, bicycles, toys and also commercial and office furniture.As well as generating income to fund services, they also provide support and information to local people.
During these difficult economic times it has become more important than ever for Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East to generate unrestricted income to support our free services for local older people through various retail activities.
Donations can be accepted directly, although please ring Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East first, and we also offer a free collection service for all usable goods.
All of our shops are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.

Furniture Warehouse
In partnership with SEGRO, we run a Furniture and Reuse Centre on the Slough Trading Estate that sells good value pre-owned furniture, electrical and household items, white goods, bicycles and toys, together with commercial and office furniture. Our ‘Helping Hands’ mobility aids shop is located at the Furniture Warehouse where we sell a range of disability equipment. We are also agents for Stannah Stairlifts.

This is located within our Furniture Warehouse and sells a range of good value, new and second hand, disability aids such as wheelchairs, walkers and scooters.
The Village Café
The Village Café is located next to The Village Shopping Centre in Slough High Street and serves a range of hot and cold food and drinks throughout the day, to eat in or take away. We provide simple, freshly prepared, high quality food and beverages as an alternative to the fast-food outlets that abound locally. The café also provides a corporate catering service for local organisations.
