We are always looking for quality donations of pre-loved items to stock our shops. If you have donations please drop them into you local shop, knowing that your donation will make a difference locally.

Good quality items sell fast in our shops, as we put out new stock for sale everyday, we need you to continue to donate your unwanted items.

Help keep our 14 shops stocked with unique treasures, decorative items and one off fashionwear.

While you are donating take time to explore our bargain packed shops to find that ‘must have’ item for your wardrobe and home.

Every purchase and every donation supports older local people.

You can help in many ways from donating you quality pre-loved homewares, clothing and furniture to volunteering your time with us.

Unfortunately, there are some items we can’t accept.

Furniture and homewares 

  • upholstered furniture without a fire label
  • furniture with noticeable rips, stains, chips, cracks and scratches
  • furniture with missing parts or damage that may make the item unsafe
  • homemade cushions
  • candles without instructions
  • mattresses
  • duvets and pillows that have been used

Sports equipment

  • buoyancy aids, lifejackets, inflatable dinghies
  • safety helmets, riding hats, cycle helmets, crash helmets
  • climbing equipment, ropes and harnesses
  • fire fighting equipment


  • car seats
  • prams, pushchairs and buggies
  • highchairs
  • cots, carry cots, playpens
  • baby baths, mattresses, bouncing harnesses and baby walkers
  • toys without the CE mark or are handmade
  • roller skates
  • toys intended for use in water

Electrical items 

  • home-recorded DVDs
  • all video and audio tapes
  • home-recorded computer games and software
  • PCs computer hard drives, laptops and notepads
  • 18 rated videos or DVDs
  • electric blankets
  • electric showers
  • sun beds and tanning equipment
  • waste disposal units
  • white goods (fridges, dishwashers etc)

Heating and cooking

  • gas appliances, either mains or gas bottles
  • paraffin stoves
  • heaters (electric or gas)
  • oil filled radiators
  • storage heaters
  • oil and gas agas

Software and hardware

  • home-recorded DVDs
  • all video and audio tapes
  • home-recorded computer games and software on recordable CDs and DVDs

Sharp knives or weapons

  • knives
  • swords, sword stocks, crossbows
  • guns and ammunition (including replica guns unless, obviously, toys)
