The Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East group comprises of Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East and its trading subsidiary Handy Help Ltd.

 

What we need

Age Concern Slough & Berkshire East will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. For the majority of our work we only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. This would typically include name, address, email etc. however, for us to provide some of our services the information we collect may include special types of information and/or location based information. Statutory bodies for whom we deliver specific services on their behalf may request that we collect special types of information which could include information regarding your ethnicity, gender, etc. We will always ensure that there is a legitimate interest for collecting this information and we will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

Any information we collect that is used for the purpose of providing the service(s) you have requested will be kept with us for as long as we need it in order to provide and oversee this / these service(s). Any information we have collected that we may use for marketing purposes (and for which you have given explicit consent) will be kept with us you until you notify us that you no longer wish us to hold the data.

We would like to use your name and email address to inform you of similar products and services and future offers however we will always request your explicit consent before doing so.
