Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer / Admin Support

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic PA with a ‘can do’ attitude to support our CEO and provide admin support to the wider management team based in our Head Office in Slough.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who has extremely strong literacy skills, has strong organisational and prioritisation skills as well as being able to work on their own initiative.

The role is varied and includes organising meetings, diary management, preparing and distributing Board papers, minute-taking and providing administrative support as required.

Rate of pay - £20,000k per annum (pro rata)

Hours - 25 hours a week (5 hours a day)

Location - Slough

Companion Centre Cook / Coordinator - Iver

We are currently looking for a proactive and flexible individual to provide lunch and a welcoming environment for out clients, helping the local community. The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Cook a healthy, nutritious lunch for 15+ clients at any one time (experience of this is essential).
  • Create a supportive and homely environment where service users can achieve maximum independence and reduce their loneliness
  • Manage, develop and motivate volunteers
  • Alongside the Centre Services Manager develop the centre, improving existing and devising new services

The day will include shopping,  interacting with clients, basic paperwork and providing a good service in order to attract more people to the clubs. This is an excellent opportunity to do an enjoyable job helping people in the local community. You must be a car driver to apply for this opportunity. An up to date Food Safety Certificate will be an advantage however appropriate training will be provided.

Hours – 5 hours a week (8am – 1pm) 

Days – 1 days a week (Friday)

Rate of pay - £8.00 per hour

As a Cleaning / Shopping operative no two days will be the same, as a valued member of the Cleaning / Shopping team you will be on hand to help our clients in their own homes with cleaning, shopping and general support (each appointment is a minimum of 1 hour). Your valuable work will be helping our clients remain independent - without this vital service many individuals would have no choice but to leave the home they love.

Retail Relief Supervisor x 2 positions available, one covering Slough and surrounding areas the second covering areas of East Berkshire.

Temporary contract until 2nd March 2019.

3 days a week (22.5 hours) – Saturday + 2 days (flexible)

£7.83 per hour

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Retail Relief Supervisor with a ‘can do’ attitude to provide supervisory retail support across an area covering 7 of our charity shops at this busy time.

You will cover and manage shops within your area when Managers or Deputy Managers are on leave, driving sales and profitability and promoting a strong customer service ethos within the retail operation and the charity as a whole.

As a key member of the retail team you will liaise regularly with the Area Support Manager as well as working closely with volunteers and other members of the shop teams, you will be expected to keep staff and volunteers informed and updated on performance and objectives on a regular basis so effective and clear communication skills are imperative.

This is a temporary contract until the 2nd March 2019, working 3 days a week including Saturdays (22.5 hours a week) there will be a level of flexibility in relation to the remaining two days.

You must be a driver with your own car.
