Across our area we have twelve retail shops. Each shop offers an excellent shopping experience, where you can find many quality pre-loved items of clothing, kitchenware, books, toys, games, furniture and home goods.

We are always grateful for your donations, which go towards making a big difference in the lives of the older people in our local communities. All profit goes straight to support our worthy and commendable services.

ACSBE scratch cards cost £1 each and are available for purchase at events, from all ACSBE shops and other approved retail outlets.

Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East Scratch Card Terms and Conditions 

1.  All proceeds from the sale of Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East (ACSBE) scratch cards go directly
     towards funding the services provided by ACSBE.

2.  ACSBE scratch cards cost £1 each and are available for purchase at events, from all ACSBE shops and
     other approved retail outlets. 

3.  Winning scratch cards must be surrendered in order to claim the prize. 

4.  All prizes must be claimed within 28 days of the last date of sale, as printed on the reverse of each
     scratch card. 

5.  Prizes of £10 or less may be claimed in cash from any ACSBE scratch card outlet or shop. 

6.  Prizes of more than £10 must be claimed by completing the address panel on the reverse of the card,
     then posting the winning card to Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East, The Priory, Suite G4,
     Stomp Road, Burnham, SL1 7LW. 

7.  Prizes over £10 will be paid in the form of a cheque, made payable to the name specified on the
     address panel and within 21 days of receipt of claim, following validation testing. Proof of posting is
     not proof of delivery. Registered or special delivery is recommended. 

8.  Stolen, torn, defaced, mutilated, defective or misprinted scratch cards will be deemed void. 

9.  Any returned by post/unclaimed prizes of £50 or more are followed up with regards to finding new
     addresses, etc. If after 6 months, we are still unable to contact the winner despite thorough
     investigation we would treat the winnings as a donation to ACSBE. After 6 months, all uncashed
     cheques of less than £50 will also be treated as a donation. 

10. Winning denominations are £1, £2, £5, £10, £25, £50, £100 and £1,000. 

11. A player can win up to 2 times per ticket. 

12. Through the duration of a scratch card game, the prize fund will reduce as prizes are won. 

13. We promise to comply with all Data Protection Act requirements and protect your personal data.
      Please note that ACSBE will not accept liability for the loss, theft or delay in any communication sent
      by post or email, or for any delays in the banking system. 

14. Under the Gambling Act 2005 ACSBE has a statutory duty to verify that all players are aged 16 or over.
       It is an offence for anyone under the age of 16 to participate in any form of gambling, including
       lotteries and scratch cards. ACSBE may on occasion carry out checks to verify this requirement. If
       anyone is subsequently found to be under 16 years of age, any monies already paid will be returned
       and every effort made to retrieve any winnings. Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East is committed
       to promoting responsible gambling and as such, will not sell tickets to players under the age of 18
       years. 

15. ACSBE scratch cards are a form of lottery and as such are registered as a Small Society Lottery with
       Buckinghamshire Council. Licence No. 22/00526/GASLOT. This Small Societies Lottery is subject to the
       provisions of the Local Government Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1982 and any other relevant local
       by-laws.

17. An instruction to be self-excluded, as defined in the Gambling Act 2005, from the purchase of ACSBE
      scratch cards may be submitted in writing, emailed or telephoned to ACSBE. Customers wishing to use
      this facility will be unable to purchase any for a minimum of 6 months thereafter. 

18. ACSBE is committed to promoting responsible gambling. Support can be found from the

      encouraging responsible gambling and operating under the name of Gambleaware.

19. Any complaint relating to the sale of Age concern Slough and Berkshire East scratch cards should be
       sent n writing in the first instance to: T. Davies, Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East, The Priory,
       Suite G4, Stomp Road, Burnham, SL1 7LW. Where a complaint or dispute remains unresolved it will
       be referred to arbitration via the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS). 

20. Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East reserves the right to amend or modify these
      Terms & Conditions without notice.
